After some time, I randomly opened the entry "Superstring" on Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superstring
and the first link under "See also" is "Centauro event". Whoever added it,
it's interesting. So I learned that Centauro events represent a puzzle in
cosmic ray physics and some Greek and Russian physicists claim that they
could be small black holes from large dimension scenarios, e.g.

Has anyone knowledge or an opinion about it? Best, Lubos
